The Bruce Trail The Bruce Trail is adjacent to Camp Manitou and is easily accessed across the road from the camp entrance. Your group can hike in either direction. Head south towards Mount Nemo, or north toward Crawford Lake, Rattlesnake Point, and on to Kelso and Hilton Falls Conservation Areas. The north trail is ideal for an afternoon hike without having to venture along roads. Immediately across the road from the camp are a series of small caves and crevices that can be explored. For more information on the Bruce Trail, visit the official Web Site at http://www.brucetrail.org/. Conservation Areas
This wildlife center and conservation area is a short drive from Camp Manitou. In addition to providing conservation education programs there are 14km of trails, a sugar bush and a birds of prey center. The center includes exhibits, demonstrations and a raptor walkway. Mountsberg also offers groups sleigh/wagon rides as an additional attraction.
Connected to the Bruce Trail, this area provides a spectacular view of the surrounding terrain from the cliff side trail and interpretive lookout.
Exploring the enchanted forests of Hilton Falls is a natural treat with great hiking, biking and cross-country ski trails. The blazing colours of fall are only surpassed by the beauty of fleeting spring wildflowers or the richness of the green summer landscape. The viewing station at the falls lets you drink in the intrinsic beauty of a 10 metre waterfall that cascades over the Niagara Escarpment and the mysterious mill ruins that surround it. Exploring
